Wow. I didn’t think Marion Cotillard could be any more beautiful, but she just totally floored me in this 1950s-style red dress.

She wore this when she guested at the Le Grand Journal TV talk show last May 18, 2010, which was filmed at Martinez Beach:

How darling is she in those candy-color-rimmed sunglasses she wore with the dress?
The dress isn’t very formal, so her messy up-do is just right for it. And since they’re filming on the beach anyway, her casual hairdo, light makeup, and playful peep-toe shoes are very appropriate for the talk show’s venue.
I haven’t identified Marion Cotillard’s 50s red halter dress with a pleated skirt yet, but I did find an adorable alternative on Amazon. This halter dress from Jessica Simpson features an even more 50s-style print – polka dots:

The bubble skirt is more modern, but the halter ties, sweetheart neckline, and polka dot print are all 50s. The smocking detail at the back ensures a perfect fit, and that banded waist will help keep the stomach bulge in check.
Like Marion Cotillard’s frock, the Jessica Simpson halter dress is fun and flirty without being too sexy.
