Some of the cast of the highly anticipated Netflix film Nimona gathered at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City for a special screening on Saturday.
Among them was Chloë Grace Moretz, who lends her voice to the titular character in this computer-animated science fantasy adventure comedy. Her co-star in the film is Academy Award-winner Riz Ahmed, who plays her partner and former knight.
For the special New York screening of her new series, the 26-year-old actress showcased her fashion prowess by donning a stunning Louis Vuitton ensemble.

Effortlessly blending casual and formal styles, Moretz opted for a Louis Vuitton top from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection. The white crewneck T-shirt exuded a subtle elegance, enhanced by a delicate neckline chain.
Layered above it, the Kick-Ass actress wore an unbuttoned cream camp-collared shirt adorned with a thin black striped print embellished with sequined white and red flowers.
To elevate the ensemble, Moretz tucked her top into black Louis Vuitton tailored sailor pants featuring a split hem and glossy buttons at the waist, bringing a sophisticated touch to the overall outfit.

Her slightly wet look hairstyling accentuated the Carrie star’s edgy appearance. Sporting a new blonde bob, she embraced a bolder vibe by slicking back the top layer of her hair, tucked behind her ears, while adding texture to the ends.
Accessorizing with finesse, Moretz donned a set of hammered gold hoop earrings and a matching gold ring, perfectly complementing her ensemble.
Makeup artist Kale Teter expertly enhanced the Big Momma’s House 2 actress’ features with a clean-eye look and a striking bold red lipstick, infusing a touch of glamour into her rocker-chic appearance.

Directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, with a screenplay by Robert L. Baird and Lloyd Taylor, Nimona is based on the graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson.
The story follows Nimona, a teenager with the extraordinary ability to shapeshift, who becomes the target of a knight seeking her assassination. However, the knight’s mission becomes complicated when he is accused of a crime and discovers that Nimona might hold the key to his dismissal.
During her red carpet appearance, Moretz spoke to GMA about her new film and the impactful message viewers can take away from her role.

She shared, “This is a movie for anyone that’s ever felt other than. For anyone who has ever felt ostracized by society, or villainized for the way they present themselves, or the way that they were born.”
Moretz highlighted the importance of a character like Nimona, adding, “And I think breaking that down into a character like Nimona, who is a shapeshifter, someone who can be. She presents herself as a teenage girl, but she can be a shark, she can be a rhinoceros, she can be anything she wants to be is really important at a time like today where we can start a conversation. And try to understand each other for who we are, exactly how we want to be, and accept each other for how we want to be, every day of our lives, and how we present ourselves.”
In addition to Chloë Grace Moretz and Riz Ahmed, Nimona features a talented cast of voice actors, including Eugene Lee Yang, Frances Conroy, Lorraine Toussaint, Beck Bennett, RuPaul, Sarah Sherman, Indya Moore, and Julio Torres.
