American Idol Season 21 auditions wrapped up Sunday, and numerous hopefuls walked away with a coveted golden ticket that advances them to the next round.
Excited for the next stage, judge Katy Perry stepped out in three different outfits on Tuesday to promote the Hollywood Week phase of the singing competition, set to premiere Sunday, April 2.
1. Katy Perry in Bottega Veneta
The 38-year-old singer kicked off her day with an appearance on Good Morning America, where she wrapped up warm in a Bottega Veneta Resort 2023 coat.
Arriving at the studio in NYC, Katy Perry posed for the cameras in an $11,000 chocolate brown leather coat with cream Merino Shearling trims, button closure, and a matching leather belt.

Once inside, the Fireworks hitmaker took off her coat and showcased her figure in a burgundy fluid suede Spring 2023 mini dress with a flattering beige cowl neckline and gold shoulder accents that complemented with her Bottega Veneta chunky gold drop earrings and yellow acetate “Rim Aviator” sunglasses.
Katy kept the look cohesive with the assistance of her longtime stylist Tatiana Waterford by carrying a “Knot” bag ($4,500 at Net-a-Porter) and slipping into the house’s “Spritz” braided heels in rich burgundy color.
Featuring a classic pointy-toe silhouette, these pumps have been given a modern update with braided cords that go around the ankles. They’re finished with gold hardware tips and heels that measure about 4.6 inches.
You can find these pumps in black at Matches Fashion, retailing for $1,450.

Makeup artist Michael Anthony highlighted Perry’s eyes with mascara and eyeshadow in a neutral palette with matching nude lip color.
Meanwhile, hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, whose famous clients include Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Jennifer Lopez, styled her dark hair in a messy updo with loose strands framing her face.

2. Katy Perry in Balenciaga
Katy Perry later departed the GMA studio in a more casual attire consisting of a jacket and a pair of jeans.
Orlando Bloom’s baby mama embraced the Y2K resurgence in a ribbed white tank top with low-rise acid-wash distressed baggy jeans by luxury denim label R13.
Under Tatiana Waterford’s styling, Katy lent her laid-back outfit a splash of color by donning a bright yellow Balenciaga “Shrunk Racer” jacket, available for $4,290 at Farfetch.

The Kill Bill-style outerwear was designed in semi-shiny soft bull skin leather and had a cropped length with contrasting black stripes along the shoulders and sleeves. It also had a snap collar, zipped cuffs, a double-ended front zip, and two zipped slash pockets.
Perry ditched her chunky earrings and instead wore a selection of silver midi rings by Mara Paris. She styled with the $252 Hope Double Ring, the $236 Hope Core Ring, the $184 Future Legend Ring, and the $242 Hope Open Ring.
Her heels were kept hidden underneath her pants, but she appeared to be wearing a pair of pointed-toe shoes.

Katy kept things cool with black cat-eye sunglasses to complete her look.
Michael Anthony applied soft makeup to Katy’s face and mentioned using Mac Cosmetics’ Kinda Sexy lipstick.
The singer then wore her long, raven hair down, this time with loose waves cascading over her shoulders.

3. Katy perry in Alexander Wang
Katy Perry ended her day by stopping by The View alongside co-judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to promote American Idol Season 21’s Hollywood Week.
Continuing her style streak, the footwear designer showed up in a head-to-toe pink ensemble fresh off Alexander Wang’s Fall 2023 runway.

The ensemble consisted of a long, boxy double-breasted blazer and matching baggy trousers in Barbiecore pink, partially overshadowed by the contrasting black fringe dress layered underneath her jacket.
The unique statement frock primarily featured a sweetheart neckline and a fringe design that reached the floor.
It perfectly matched her snakeskin-embossed black platform pumps with open toes, thick platforms, and sky-high stiletto heels.

Stylist Tatiana Waterford accessorized Perry’s look with the Alexander Wang “Marquess” bag in pink satin, featuring a nylon handle with crystal-embellished logo charms.
She then traded her set of rings for a $350 pair of Agmes “Baroque Luca” silver earrings set with a Baroque Freshwater pearl.
Keeping the rest of her look low-key, Katy hid her eyes behind a pair of Prada Runway sunglasses.
