If you have ever had a bad breakup, don’t feel too sorry for yourself. Few reasons for ending a relationship have ever been as petty as the impetus for a younger man breaking up with legendary actress Sharon Stone. Let’s get into it:

A Quick Look at Sharon Stone’s Iconic Career

Before we get too deep, let’s quickly review who Sharon Stone is. This actress has been active in the industry since the late ‘70s and is known for her work on projects such as Basic Instinct, Casino, Catwoman, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Stone has been nominated for a Golden Globe, an Academy Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. She’s an icon in Tinsel Town and even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Shocking Reason Sharon Stone Got Dumped

Given that she is an incredibly talented actress and beautiful, it seems wild to think that anybody would break up with Sharon Stone.

But the LensCrafters commercial star, who recently dated a younger man, shared that he broke up with her because she refused to get Botox.

Stone told him his desire for her to get work done was purely ego-driven. She made it clear that if her choice to avoid injectables was a problem for him, he was free to leave.

In an interview with Vogue Arabia, she explained why he dumped her. “It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did,” she responded when asked by her partner if she uses Botox.

“I saw him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore. If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit,” she added.

We applaud anyone’s decision to get or not get Botox if that’s what they choose, but why is Stone so ardently against injecting her own face? Unfortunately, she’s had a bad experience with the procedure.

At the height of her fame, Stone experimented with Botox and ended up having a massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage.

To remedy the fallout from the health scare, Stone had to get over 300 shots of Botox and filler, and it entirely changed her perspective on injections. We can’t say we blame her.

“There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” she admitted, saying the idea of injections went from “cute luxury to some kind of massive, painful neurological need.”

What Sharon Stone Has Been Working on Lately

So, aside from getting dumped for not injecting Botox, what else has Sharon Stone been up to lately? Well, in May 2022, she was on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for several films, including Les Amandiers, Crimes of the Future, and Elvis.

She also attended a fundraiser for Sean Penn’s nonprofit Community Organized Relief Effort, or CORE, which aids underserved communities across the world.

Stone has also been busy working. In 2022 alone, she has had parts in multiple television series and movies, including Murderville and The Flight Attendant. She has starred in three separate video shorts, a couple for brand campaigns.

Stone’s romantic drama film What About Love was released on February 14, 2024. She is still active on her social media accounts, sharing updates on her career, paintings, and family life.

She has multiple children and a godson with whom she spends time, and she travels a fair amount, visiting places like Italy and France.

Sharon Stone is just as busy at this point in her career as she was when she began, and she doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
