Britney Spears has been making the best use of her freedom since the end of her conservatorship in November 2021.
Her Instagram is filled with posts of her enjoying her life and self-expression. The singer recently shared a video of herself dancing to Cardi B in a stylish and tidy look.
Her Pilgrim-Inspired Outfit
Spears showed off her moves in a pilgrim-inspired black mini dress in a video she posted to Instagram. The dress features a white collar and matching cuffs, with a keyhole cutout in the back that added to the look.
She also pulled her blonde locks into a stylishly messy updo and wore a pair of dangling diamond earrings. Britney donned a pair of brown Mary Jane heels to finish the look.
The heels featured a matching strap across the foot with gold hardware. Her chunky heels with a 3-inch height were a sturdy heel option for the star who enjoys posting dancing videos to her Instagram.

Britney Spears Style and Flair
Spears enjoys wearing vintage and stylish silhouettes and is boosting the Y2K fashion moment with her fun and bright clothing choices, which she readily shares with her fans on Instagram.
This seems fitting as Spears was the face of Candie’s in the early ’00. She worked with the brand to create a fashionable clothing line sold at Kohl’s department store.
Spears also had her own fragrance line that included several scents, amongst many other endorsement deals as a young pop star.
Her Instagram is filled with more early ’00 inspired outfits that feature low-rise skinny jeans with chunky platform booties, sparkly sequined mini dresses, and floral crop tops.
The Tell-All Book Deal
Spears has secured a tell-all book deal with Simon & Schuster. The memoir is worth over $15 million, which the publisher secured after a bidding war.
The million-dollar contract rivals only the Obamas’ $65 million book deal. In her book, Spears will reportedly chronicle “her rise to fame, her music career and her relationship with her family.”

The book deal comes months after her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, released her own tell-all memoir, Things I Should Have Said. Britney accused Jamie Lynn of extorting her elder sister’s fame and renown for her own gain, resulting in a Twitter feud.
Britney Finds Healing in Writing Her Book
Spears gave emotional testimony during her conservatorship hearing in June. For the first time, she stated that her 13 years long conservatorship under her father, Jamie Spears, was abusive and that she couldn’t “live a full life.”
The 40-year-old has confirmed that she is working on the book, and the process has been “healing and therapeutic.”

She has stated that she is taking an “intellectual approach” to writing her book and that “It’s also hard bringing up past events in my life… I’ve never been able to express openly.”
Britney Spears fans can look forward to her tell-all memoir in the future, which could reveal some interesting or startling facts about the star’s life as the queen of pop.
But in the meantime, we can enjoy her Instagram posts filled with Y2K fashion and videos of the pop star dancing and enjoying her life.

Such a shame because Britney’s actually toned up a bit for the occasion and fixed her hair extensions. The dress itself is cute too. But together, they’re just not a good match.
“I was sitting with Britney for two days, and after every few auditions, she would go…” her fellow judge Louis Walsh told the Irish Independent in June 2021 about Britney Spears being heavily medicated when appearing on The X Factor.
“They would literally have to stop the show and take her out because she was on so much medication and other stuff,” he claimed. “I felt sorry for her.” Britney reportedly made $15 million for her one-season stint on the show.
