It was a busy Christmas day for Mindy Kaling.
Aside from running errands alone in West Hollywood on a holiday, she also took some time to greet her fans and send them a warm Christmas message, Love Actually-style.
Inspired by the 2003 Christmas-themed rom-com, Mindy joined tons of people who have parodied an iconic scene from the movie to deliver her message to her Instagram followers.
In a series of cue cards, she wrote the words: “This year has been hard. With any luck by next year, we’ll all be allowed out of our homes. But until then, know to me you’re all still perfect… and you look great in sweatpants. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!”

For her West Hollywood outing, the 41-year-old actress wore a Chinti & Parker floral fine knit sweater, which features a v-neck, ribbed hem and cuffs, and a fitted silhouette.
You can get it in biscotti with black and red floral prints at a discounted price of $260 (from $433) at Farfetch.

Giving the look a more feminine charm, the Mindy Project star accessorized with a pair of large floral drop earrings. She also carried a croc leather black bag and kept herself protected with a black printed face mask.
Pulling her hair back into a loose ponytail, Mindy finished off her casual look with barely-there makeup.
