One day after finishing a six-show run around New York City, Celine Dion and her team announced that the singer is postponing her concerts in Washington DC and Pittsburgh after falling ill.
Celine Dion reportedly came down with symptoms of a common cold. She was tested negative for COVID-19 and was instructed by her doctors to rest for five to seven days.
“On Monday night, a day after completing a six-show run in the New York City area, Celine began feeling the symptoms of a common cold. The symptoms persisted into Tuesday, and her doctors instructed her to rest for the next 5-7 days. After testing her, the doctors concluded that her virus was not related to COVID-19,” a representative said in a statement posted on her Facebook page.
She was scheduled to perform at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on March 11 and at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday. The said shows are rescheduled for November 2020, while the rest of her Courage World Tour dates will push through as scheduled.
Before she came down with a cold, Celine was serving looks on the streets of New York. Her glam squad, including her stylists Pepe Munoz and Sydney Lopez, did an excellent job in putting together a series of quirky and fashion-forward outfits for the singer.
Aside from her ‘60s mod Moncler 8 Richard Quinn outfit, below are three of her most memorable looks from the past week.
1. Celine Dion Celebrates International Women’s Day in Floral Ball Gown
In celebration of the International Women’s Day, the 51-year-old singer wore a pink floral ball gown from Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2020 collection ($9,080 at Moda Operandi). It features large prints of Chrysanthemum flowers with a voluminous puffed skirt and a dramatic dipped hem.
