Lea Michele showcased her tattooed feet and ankles in black leather sandals at Hollywood Reporter & SAG-AFTRA’s 3rd Annual Emmy Nominees Night held at the Avra in Beverly Hills yesterday.
Unfortunately, she also showed that she had some trouble with her Alexandre Birman heels.
The Glee star’s toes were spilling out the front of her pointy-toe sandals and were scraping the black carpet.

In Lea’s defense, there is just no way to keep your feet inside pointy-toe sandals no matter how narrow your feet are. Whoever designed sandals to have pointed toes was simply not interested in keeping women’s feet contained.
Imagine what it was like for Lea when she had to relieve herself and had to walk on the bathroom floor in these heels.

The rest of Lea’s outfit was a perfectly fitted ruffled red dress by David Koma, elegant Nancy Newberg stud earrings, a sleek ponytail, and a fire-engine shade of red on her lips.

We spotted the same shoe problem on Simon Cowell’s girlfriend Lauren Silverman, who joined Julianne Hough at the America’s Got Talent Season 14 finals on Tuesday.
Dressed in a marigold Ronny Kobo ‘Kaira’ leopard-print silk dress ($458 at Shopbop,) Lauren also had trouble keeping her feet contained in her pointy-toe sandals.

Lauren’s tootsies also spilled out the front of her Gianvito Rossi nude-leather slingback sandals that feature diagonal straps and PVC bands across the toes.

It’s no wonder square toes are such a big shoe trend nowadays.
