Celine Dion attended her first Met Gala in 2017 and made another epic arrival to the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City.

The 51-year-old superstar wore a custom Oscar de la Renta mammoth headdress that took over 3,000 hours to create by 52 master embroiderers. She posed for photos in her 22-pound gilded gown upon landing on the pink carpet for her photo moment.

She styled her high-shine, metallic, long-sleeve dress with custom Chloe Gosselin T-strap heels and Fred Leighton jewelry. With over 3,000 pairs of shoes in her shoe closet, we’re surprised she could not find a different pair to wear.

On the pink carpet, the Canadian singer talked with Vogue’s Liza Koshy about her beaded gown inspired by the Judy Garland, Hedy Lamarr, and Lana Turner 1941 American musical film “Ziegfeld Girl.”
