Eva Longoria tried but failed to pull off a tailored look at her guest appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday.

For starters, she wore a collarless blazer that must’ve been too tight to button at the waist so she left the top hook open. This resulted in a sloppy, gaping fit that made her midsection look wide and bulky.

Having only given birth to her baby boy three months ago, Eva might still be adjusting her wardrobe to her post-baby body. However, we can’t come up with an explanation for why she chose to put together pieces of clothing in clashing shades of black.

Her blazer photographs as blue-black, her scoop-neck top appears to be on the grayish side, while her tapered pants look to be a cool black shade.

Her choice of sandals also features dated-looking quarter-straps instead of the chic ankle-strap style that has been ruling the red carpet.

But, to be fair, Eva’s Gianvito Rossi ‘Jaime’ sandals with their tubular stretch ankle straps do look much better up close.
