Angelina Jolie Advocates for Girls’ Rights at The Breadwinner Premiere
At The Breadwinner premiere, Angelina Jolie spoke passionately about highlighting “the vulnerability of girls around the world.”
She emphasized that it’s a cause deserving of continued focus, noting that “we just can’t do enough to bring attention to” the challenges girls face globally.
Reflecting on the film’s themes, Jolie shared that supporting women can take many forms, from “fighting for girls’ education” to ensuring equal opportunities for women “in the workplace,” whether behind the scenes or in front of the camera. She highlighted that it’s “our responsibility… to step forward and do more” to advocate for these values.
