When we think “Oscars red carpet,” we don’t usually think “Victoria’s Secret runway.” The thought of the Academy Awards brings to mind big-time Hollywood actors, movie producers, and directors.
So, understandably, the movie-loving crowd was a bit dumbfounded when model Karlie Kloss suddenly showed up on the red carpet. Our first thought was, “Did she appear in a film that we didn’t know about?”

Karlie Kloss stepped out on the red carpet of the 2017 Academy Awards held at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles and seemed to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the stars.

Karlie arrived in yet another white-on-red-carpet look in a gorgeous colorless gown by Stella McCartney.
This dress reminds us of the model’s infamous Brandon Maxwell look but a bit more on the conservative side. Karlie’s cape detail is really what sold us on this look.
The model polished off her look with some pretty serious neck bling from Nirav Modi, a white satin Roger Vivier purse, and a pair of metallic silver Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Since this was Karlie’s first-ever Academy Awards experience, she made sure to document the whole thing, starting when she arrived in Los Angeles for the weekend.
The 24-year-old shot footage of her final dress fitting, showed off her after-party dress, and gifted us with some moments from the makeup chair.
As it turns out, Karlie was sent to the Oscars by Samsung to shoot her first-ever 360-degree vlog. The “Klossy” vlogger shot and edited everything from her device.
