It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since Celine Dion was last nominated for a Grammy, with her last win taking place in 1999 for “My Heart Will Go On.” The singer’s semi-hiatus took place shortly after her husband, René Angélil, was diagnosed with throat cancer.
After René’s death last year, the queen of timeless ballads finally made her return to the Grammys. Celine stepped out on the red carpet of the 2017 Grammys to present the “Song of the Year” award.

The music legend showed off her slim physique in a fully-embellished dress from Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 couture collection. The emerald green gown featured a dropped neckline, a sexy thigh-high slit, an embellished waist bow, and raised shoulders.

Celine made her return to the Grammys stage with her song “My Heart Will Go On” playing in the background. The song siren couldn’t help but reminisce about her 1999 win, sharing that she remembered being beside her husband as her name was called out.
Celine also had a cute little moment with Lady Gaga as the two interacted on the red carpet. Even though she seemed reserved at the meet-and-greet, Lady Gaga is reportedly a fan of Celine.
