Bright, colorful dresses outshone even the classiest black dresses at the Dolce & Gabbana Fifth Avenue Flagship Store Opening in New York last May 4. It’s a clear sign that summer is right on the horizon.

Musicians Paloma Faith, Kylie Minogue, and model Erin Heatherton attended the star-studded event in striking, color-rich dresses from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2013 RTW. Their dress choices made the event more exceptional and gave it a different degree of glam.
Kylie Minogue chose a green-and-white vertical-striped dress that flares from the waist, giving her petite figure a fuller shape. She matched it with red T-strap sandals.

Paloma Faith chose the dramatic Knights dress. It is a predominantly orange midi-length dress with an arresting drawing of marching medieval knights.
She also wore the same orange platform sandals the dress was paired with when it first appeared on the runway.

We liked Erin Heatherton’s dress the most. The green shift dress features an intricate print of large medallions showing suns, flowers, and flourishing leaves.
