There was no literal eye roll, but Brie Larson revealed that she is not the typical girly girl. The actress said she has much more pressing concerns than which designer dress she will wear to the upcoming Oscars.

The 26-year-old styled her attractive outfit with rings from Dana Rebecca Designs, earrings from Ariel Gordon, and a pair of PVC-and-suede Christian Louboutin sandals custom-made for Jonathan Saunders’ London Fashion Week S/S 2016 collection.

Larson was joined on the red carpet by Jacob Tremblay, with whom she starred in the critically acclaimed 2015 film Room. Their age difference is approximately 17 years.
In the film, Brie Larson plays the role of Ma, a young woman held captive in a small room with her son, Jack, portrayed by Jacob Tremblay.
Their performances in the movie were widely praised, and both actors received significant recognition for their work.

Brie was visibly annoyed when she was asked about her dress in the press room, letting out a flabbergasted, “That’s what you want to ask?”
The reporter redeemed herself by asking about the pressures of dressing, to which Brie shared her philosophy in choosing her red carpet looks.
“I feel like the way I’ve been able to understand clothes and fashion better is it’s a great way for me to express what’s happening on the inside,” Larson responded.
“So my goal with each dress that I’ve worn has been to try and reflect what my soul looks like, which is far more complicated than any dress could ever be.”
We love Christian Louboutin’s take on ankle strap sandals but are saddened that they won’t be available to the public. For now, we can only stare and hope that another celebrity shows up on the red carpet in them. You can order a similar PVC-and-suede pair by Gianvito Rossi at Mytheresa.
