The stars of The Host and many other celebrities gathered at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Tuesday for the premiere of the sci-fi movie, which will hit theaters on March 29.
Diane Kruger and Saoirse Ronan were among those present at the premiere night. They both looked fabulous as they walked down the blue carpet. Below are some of the most amazing outfits of the evening. Let us know who you think was the best dressed!
1. Diane Kruger Dazzles in Thakoon at ‘The Host’ Premiere
Diane Kruger never fails to amaze us with her unique ensembles. Although showing side boob is quite common these days, Diane managed to look classy in her revealing outfit.
Aside from the see-through panels at the sides and bottom, which are embroidered with a floral design, her black Thakoon dress also features exquisite floral beading. While we would have preferred a pair of black pumps to go with it, Diane chose to add some edge to her look by wearing Jimmy Choo’s metallic “Malika” sandals.

2. Saoirse Ronan: Chic in Lanvin at ‘The Host’ Red Carpet
The film’s lead star, Saoirse Ronan, wore an interesting dress at the premiere, although she looked less prepared than Diane. Her hair was a bit messy, but her Lanvin dress made up for it.
It was a two-tone satin sleeveless dress with some beading or crystal embellishments on one side, a black bow detail, and a slit. Saoirse complemented this edgy and modern piece with a pair of Lanvin stiletto pumps.

3. Rachel Roberts: Sleek and Sexy in White at ‘The Host’ Premiere
‘S1m0ne’ star Rachel Roberts opted for a sleek, somewhat glittery white number. Although it looks conservative at the front, the open back is quite sexy.

4. Rebecca da Costa: Casual Chic in a Graphic Dress
There’s nothing really fancy about Rebecca da Costa’s dress here. Its black-and-white combination and butterfly and floral-print illusion are interesting.
It’s a good enough dress for a premiere night. However, it would be more appropriate for a night out or a casual stroll if you want to attract attention.

5. Taylor Spreitler: Bold in Green for ‘The Host’ Event
Two days after Saint Patrick’s Day, 19-year-old Taylor Spreitler wore green! Her Misguided dress is quite mature-looking for her age, but it actually suits her skin tone and physique well.
It’s a little daring because it features a low-cut V-neck and is very short, but it has long sleeves that cover her up a bit. Taylor paired the dress with Vince Camuto “Nedra” sandals in nude with snake-print details.

6. Bella Thorne: Sweet and Stylish in Alice + Olivia
Although she seems to be working on a more mature look with her past ensembles, Bella Thorne remains the sweet girl we’ve come to know. At the recent ‘Spring Breakers’ LA premiere, the 15-year-old Disney star looked sweet and girly in a pink strapless dress.
On Tuesday, she wore another strapless dress from Alice + Olivia’s Fall 2012 collection. The navy-and-white checkered dress is sweet and sexy, but the grunge effect provides a little drama for Bella. She paired it with a flower headpiece and contemporary shoes by Prabal Gurung.

7. AJ Michalka: Spring-Perfect in Floral at ‘The Host’ Screening
’78violet’ star AJ Michalka looked spring-perfect in a beautiful floral dress with cap sleeves, a cinched waist, and a flared skirt just above the knee.
The actress’s hair was lovely in waves and braided on one side. AJ wore a pair of Miu Miu bow peep-toe heels to finish the sweet, feminine look.

8. Alexandra Daddario: Striking in Magenta by Jay Godfrey
Making a stunning entrance at the venue was Alexandra Daddario, who chose to wear a striking magenta dress by Jay Godfrey.
The textured dress is very sexy and modern. It features a cutout at the waist and a peplum-like detail. She completed her outfit with Pollini Spring 2011 sandals.

9. Christian Serratos: Futuristic Glam in Metallic Dress
‘Twilight’ actress Christian Serratos went with a hint of sci-fi look in a metallic silver number. Her textured and metallic strapless dress looked ultramodern, but her gray pumps didn’t quite complement it. A little contrast could have added a playful effect.

10. Claudia Lee: Youthful Elegance in White with Floral Accents
16-year-old Claudia Lee looked charming in a white dress with sheer sleeves, a sheer layered skirt, floral appliques, and gold-tone studs on the bodice.
It is very girly and suits her age. However, her red lip shade and nail polish made her look slightly mature. The choice of shoes did not match the dress, but their color was a good surprise.
