Many TV and radio personalities attended the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards, which took place in London earlier this month. The event was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, United Kingdom, on March 12, 2013.
Some celebrities wore stunningly bright dresses, while others opted for the black-and-white trend. Several lace dresses stood out, proving that lace is here to stay for at least a bit longer.
Let’s look at 10 of our favorite looks from the awards ceremony (not listed in any particular order).
1. Aliona Vilani Captivates in a Chic One-Shoulder Mini
Professional dancer Aliona Vilani wore a mini dress that features a one-shoulder cutout and a pleated miniskirt in a contrasting color.
She paired it with black tights and caged platform sandals. The look was sexy, although I would probably replace her shoes with pumps or a more modern pair of sandals.

2. Catherine Tyldesley’s Modern Elegance in Black and White
English actress and model Catherine Tyldesley was a fab gal in black and white. The puffed sleeves and the edgy cutouts on her dress, which fell just below her knees, presented a modern look. However, her curly locks and red lips suggested a classic one.

3. Helen Flanagan’s Dramatic Lace Look by Victoria Beckham
Here’s Helen Flanagan in a black lace outfit. The English actress and model looked cute and a little dramatic in her black outfit.
It’s a Victoria Beckham dress with a long-sleeved lace top and a satin skirt with inverted pleating at the front. I love how Helen wore this piece and paired it with statement-making Charlotte Olympia pumps.

4. Lizzie Cundy’s Timeless Elegance in a White Sleeveless Dress
Lizzie Cundy looked elegant in a clean and crisp white sleeveless dress. It’s simple, but she looked hot, and those studded white pumps made her even hotter.

5. Nazaneen Ghaffar’s Sunny Yellow Tiered Dress
Nazaneen Ghaffar, a British television weather presenter, chose to wear a striking yellow-tiered dress. Though unusual for a red carpet, her summery dress stood out, complemented by interesting shoes that matched perfectly.

6. Georgia May Foote’s Bold Blue Dress Statement
Georgia May Foote wore a stunning blue sleeveless dress, which showed off her curves. It has a simple design, but the bold color makes up for it. The British actress paired it with pink Carvela pumps, which also matched the color of her lips.

7. Laura Hamilton’s Youthful Pink and Black Ensemble
Pretty in pink (and black) was television presenter Laura Hamilton. We’re not sure if she was in a one-piece dress or a pink tube dress with a black sequined top. Whatever it was, she looked younger here.

8. Jessica Wright’s Elegance Encased in Lace
Although her relatively modest-cut dress may have hidden her cleavage, Jessica Wright still managed to show off her curves in that body-hugging lace frock.
She also looked polished in her updo, although I think her orange-painted nails were a bit off. Finishing her look were her glittery heels and nude clutch.

9. Ashley Roberts in an Unconventional Printed Antipodium Dress
Here’s a printed fit-and-flare dress that would look perfect for spring. Former Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts donned an Antipodium “Pixel” dress with an unusual animal-print design (well, it’s believed to have a tiger byte illustration).
This dress also has a contrasting pink back. Ashley finished her look with nude Christian Louboutin heels.

10. Natalie Gumede’s Chic Butterfly and Camo Print Dress
Natalie Gumede’s dress is one of my favorites. It’s a McQ Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 form-fitting dress with an interesting butterfly and camo print. Natalie paired it with bright blue pumps for a pop of chic contrast.
