While promoting the 2009 alternate history black comedy war film Inglourious Basterds, Diane Kruger proved that she can speak English, French, and Germany equally well. Not only that, but she studied Latin in school.
“I don’t SPEAK Latin,” she says, stopping the effusive critic in his tracks. “I studied Latin for eight years in school, ” the German actress shared in an interview with The National Post. “It sucked.”
Growing up in Germany, she learned English while living in London and later French when she lived in Paris working as a model.
We’re usually fans of anything glittery and sparkly, but we have to admit — Diane Kruger’s Toronto International Film Festival dress? Not it.
In September 2015, the then 39-year-old German actress wore an atrocious bejeweled dress to the “Disorder” premiere at the 2015 film festival at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.
