Tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams just attended the 2022 Oscars. The pair were promoting their new film King Richard, in which Will Smith plays their father, Richard Williams.

The film was executive produced by Serena and Venus and had six Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
The Williams sisters were presenting the performance for Best Original Song nominee Beyonce. She was nominated for “Be Alive” which featured on the soundtrack of King Richard.

This moving performance had already been pre-recorded for the Oscars and was filmed at tennis courts in Compton. It was at these courts that Serena and Venus learned to play tennis during their childhood.

On the red carpet, Serena’s husband Alexis Ohanian joined her. She wore a floor-length pink Gucci gown with black rose embroidery and a high leg slit.

On her hands were elegant sheer black gloves with flower detailing. The tennis player also wore two dazzling diamond rings and sleek black platform heels.
For the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, she flaunted her assets in a silver Atelier Versace mini dress paired with crystal-embellished high heels.

Meanwhile, Venus was wearing an angelic white Elie Saab dress that touched the floor with a slight train. This was paired with two silver wrist cuffs and dangly silver earrings.
At the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, she wore a Givenchy Haute Couture look designed by Matthew M. Williams. She completed her outfit with Stuart Weitzman platform heels and a stunning Bvlgari High Jewellery necklace.

It’s not talked about too often, but reality star and socialite Kim Kardashian has for a long time been friends with tennis champion Serena Williams.

Interestingly enough, the two started out with an employee-employer relationship. Prior to her rise to fame, Kim made a living cleaning out and arranging closets for Serena.
Now that the two women have become celebrities in their respective fields, the two maintain a friendship.

In September 2015, Kim was joined by her younger half-sister Kendall Jenner and a group of friends to watch Serena and Venus Williams‘ match at the 2015 U.S. Open in New York City.
“I wish people could see her [Williams] silly side,” Kim shared in a 2017 interview with Vogue.
“She is obsessed with karaoke, which personally is my biggest fear in life. I remember a dinner in San Francisco before a DNC fund-raiser. Serena sang, Obama sang, Kanye sang. It was legendary.
