Uh-oh. Looks like Kim Kardashian had another nasty run-in with animal activists. The reality television star arrived at Barnes & Noble for what she thought would be a peaceful book signing for her selfie book, Selfish (available at Amazon), and maybe chat for a bit with her fans in New York.
Instead, the 34-year-old came face-to-face with an angry mini-mob. The activists posed as fans and lined up at Kim’s book-signing event, only to throw insults at her face once they were in front of her. Oh, and they made sure to take a video as well.
We’re all for anti-cruelty toward animals, but we do have to admit that this was a tasteless way to get the message across. With all the different advocacy groups across the globe, respect and integrity should be kept at heart when dealing with fellow human beings. It’s a good thing that Kim kept her professionalism, barely flinching as the first insults flew out of the activists’ mouths.
The ShoeDazzle founder kept herself looking polished in a Dior top and skirt, and she matched it with the popular Céline “Mulese” from the 2011 collection. The mom-of-one kept her hair slicked back and her makeup nude-based.

Controversy aside, we’re pleasantly surprised that Kim, who has access to all designer brands in the world, opted to wear a pair of classic Céline heels from the 2011 collection.
Unfortunately, because the Mulese has seen many seasons pass, it is no longer available online. Check out our alternative picks below.
