This is how big the TV show ‘Scandal’ has gotten: it now has its very own clothing line. Made in collaboration with The Limited, the collection features pieces you would expect the powerful, professional women on the hit political drama series to wear. Crisply tailored pants are interspersed with pussy-bow blouses. Sharp pencil skirts are displayed next to smart dresses.
This promo pic gives a good glimpse of what the Scandal-inspired clothing line has to offer:
Women’s Scandal Collection By The Limited
That said, it was kind of strange that Scandal’s star, Kerry Washington, headed the launch of the fashion line but did not dress in any of the clothes from the said collection. She graced the event in a Giles Deacon Resort 2015 peplum dress and dainty Roger Vivier bow sandals — a soft and feminine look that’s quite the opposite of the style of her character, Olivia Pope. Topping off the already girly look was a twisted side braid and a sparkly, pearl-embellished Roger Vivier clutch.

Roger Vivier “Le Smoking” bow sandals on Kerry Washington
We understand if Kerry wasn’t contractually obligated to wear clothes from the Scandal clothing line, but she could’ve toned down her accessorizing. Those sandals are a bit much.
Do you think Kerry Washington should’ve worn simpler shoes, or do you approve of her Roger Vivier bow sandals?

Although not a lookalike of Kerry’s Roger Vivier shoes, we love the bow-tiful look of these blue Kate Spade heels:
