It’s blonde bombshell versus blonde bombshell in our Who Wore It Better post today, and the shoes in contention are the equally hot Christian Louboutin “So Kate” and “Pigalle” pumps. Amber Heard and Blake Lively decided to take completely different styling routes with their Loubis. Does one trump the other? Let’s discuss.
We first spotted sexy Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps on Amber Heard who wore them to the premiere of her new film, ‘3 Days to Kill’, on Wednesday. She chose a black-net-and-crystal-embellished gold satin version of the pumps to pair with her daring Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2014 LBD. Despite the plunging neckline and the dangerously high slit of her dress, the attention was still on Amber’s sparkling diamond engagement ring, which she flashed alongside fiancé Johnny Depp. Red lips, red nails, gold-and-diamond dagger earrings, and a partially slicked-back do completed her sexy-edgy look.

Meanwhile, across the country in New York, Blake Lively was making the Fashion Week rounds in her 5-inch-high Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps. Dressed head-to-toe in Michael Kors to attend the Michael Kors Fall 2014 fashion presentation, Blake’s ’50s-inspired covered-up ensemble was in complete contrast to Amber Heard’s vampy look. Blake’s nude python pumps perfectly complemented her camel coat and picked up the light brown embroidery on her pencil skirt. A knotted belt, layered gold chain necklaces, and taupe nails served as her accessories.

Tell us, who do you think wore her Christian Louboutin pumps better — Amber Heard or Blake Lively?
Perhaps what we should be asking is whose pumps you prefer. These shoes are so in demand that nearly every single version of them are sold out everywhere! We did manage to find this bronze python version of the ‘So Kate’ at Net-A-Porter, but we bet they’re going to be snapped up soon, too:
