Victoria Beckham at 50: A Timeless Beauty Who Defies Age at Lavish London Bash

For someone who radiates timeless beauty, 50 is just a number. Pop singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham turned 50 last week but looked nothing like her age as she hosted a lavish birthday party at Oswald’s Private Members Club in London on Saturday night.

Posh Spice invited a star-studded guest list that included Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, and more. Her fellow Spice Girls, Mel C (Sporty Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), also showed up for Victoria’s milestone birthday, surprising fans with a rare reunion.

Not only that, but the 1990s iconic British pop group also performed an impromptu karaoke of their dance-pop song Stop. David Beckham caught it all on camera and posted it on his Instagram—everyone say thank you, David Beckham!

Victoria Beckham Stands Out in VB Sea Foam Sheer Gown

Celebrating in heels, birthday girl Victoria Beckham naturally donned a custom creation from her eponymous label. She highlighted her enviably toned figure in a sheer mint green birthday dress, designed with cascading floral ruffles on the right shoulder and left hip.

I like her choice of birthday outfit (but really, when did she fail us?); it’s soft and feminine and beautifully constructed from a sheer seafoam fabric. She undoubtedly stood out from the A-list crowd.

The gown featured a ruched bodice and a cinched waistline, and even though it showed a glimpse of her black undergarments, I thought it was still modestly created thanks to the high neck, floor-sweeping hem, and single short sleeve design.

Effortlessly wearing her brunette hair down in waves, Mrs. Beckham accessorized with a stack of gold and diamond bangles and earrings.

It was an excellent decision for her to pair the delicate sea foam dress with white satin pumps, as it enhanced the look’s class and sophistication.

After the party, David Beckham was pictured giving Victoria a piggyback ride. I highly doubt it’s due to intoxication. Remember when she had an accident in February while working out at home? It’s likely due to that and the fact that she ditched her crutches for the party.

She later took to her Instagram Story to thank David Beckham for making her feel special on her birthday.

“I still can’t believe how special you made me feel on this evening, on my birthday, this entire week, and all of our magical years together! Thank you. I love you much! … I am being honest!!” she captioned a photo of her with Beckham, who was wearing a classic black tuxedo suit, a white pocket square, and shiny black oxford shoes.

Mel B Steals Attention in Red

She’s not called Scary Spice for nothing! Known for her daring fashion choices, Mel B made a bold arrival at the bash, wearing a vibrant red dress with a daring cutout plunging neckline held in place by a thin halter neck strap.

I love how it perfectly complemented her beautiful skin tone and highlighted her toned body. She stepped out without a bra and drew attention to her decolletage with a delicate gold pendant necklace paired with tiny stud earrings and a large watch.

Bringing 1990s Scary Spice back, Mel B rocked her signature voluminous tight curls and carried her party essentials in a leopard-print envelop bag with a long chain-and-leather strap hanging from her shoulder.

She wore leopard nails and rounded out her ensemble with Christian Louboutin leopard pumps.

Geri Halliwell Is Radiant in White Rebecca Vallance Dress

Geri Halliwell’s Instagram photos show that she has developed a penchant for white clothing, unlike her days as Ginger Spice, when she often dressed in vibrant colors.

For Victoria Beckham’s lavish birthday party, Halliwell donned another white look—a stunning pearl-embellished white dress from Rebecca Vallance’s bridal collection. While I like the dress, I don’t think it’s party-ready; it looks rather too formal, in my opinion.

Retailing for $755 at Mytheresa, the “Bridal Ophelia” ivory crepe midi dress features tiny pearls all over. I adore the three pearl-embellished coquette bows that hold the deep V-neckline together; they give the otherwise simple white design a whimsical, feminine touch. But again, this feels more like a white-tie event dress code.

Geri carried a matching ivory purse and decided on dark nude platform sandals. There’s nothing wrong with the combination, but I think it would have been better with a pair of blush nude heels.

Halliwell’s updo added to the overall formal appearance; she should have just let her hair down like the rest.

Melanie C and Emma Bunton Match in Black Dresses

Sporty Spice and Baby Spice, clad in matching black dresses, were ready to dance the night away.

Mel C, frequently seen in tracksuits during the Spice Girls heyday, showed her take on the cutout black dress trend by wearing a one-shoulder black dress with daring side cutouts and a thigh-high slit.

Mel C teamed the look with black open-toe stiletto sandals, displaying her vibrant red pedicure. I’m digging this look on her, as it effortlessly showcases her incredibly toned physique.

Emma, meanwhile, lived up to her Baby Spice nickname by wearing a black velvet dress with a cleavage-baring plunging neckline and a risque center front slit. I love how the maxi-length hem and long sleeves with ivory satin cuffs countered the bold flesh-baring cuts.

She kept the jewelry to a minimum, adding diamond studs and a dainty necklace. A pair of strappy black suede open-toe heels rounded out her classy ensemble.

Aside from the Spice Girls, A-list stars, including Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, and supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, attended Victoria Beckham’s opulent birthday party.

Salma Hayek Is Regal in Emerald Green Gown

Salma Hayek honored the birthday girl by embracing her inner royal in an emerald-green column gown from Victoria Beckham’s collection. With its classic silhouette, complete with an open back, a round neck, long sleeves, and a floor-sweeping hem, the gown exudes a timeless charm that I find very appealing.

The front’s gathered circular design accentuates Hayek’s form while adding to the look’s overall elegance. I love the dress’s timelessness, but it feels too formal, as if she was supposed to be at a royal ball or something. If you need to attend a white-tie event, you might want to consider this dress, which retails for $1,950 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Accompanied by her businessman husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, Salma enhanced the regal vibe of her look with a luxurious diamond necklace by Boucheron and a black cape by Saint Laurent.

Not to distract from the dress, Hayek wore her brunette hair in an elegant updo, accentuating her beautiful features with winged eyeliner, bronzed makeup, and nude lip gloss.

Eva Longoria Is Sensational in a Black Lace Slip Dress

Donning her signature form-fitting style, Eva Longoria looked sensational in a black slip dress that flowed beautifully over her famous hourglass figure. To honor the star of the evening, she opted for a Victoria Beckham creation.

The slinky slip dress featured a low-cut scoop neckline held in place by delicate spaghetti straps. The rather basic black slip dress had a seductive open back, but what caught my attention was the flowery lace panel extending from Eva’s right chest to her left hip, offering a glimpse of her flesh.

I love how Eva kept the rest of her look understated, sporting a minimal set of diamond stud earrings and carrying a $1,450 VB black purse with a gold-tone chain accent reminiscent of one of Victoria Beckham’s vintage watch straps.

A pair of black platform heels, barely visible underneath her dress, rounded out her glamorous ensemble.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Is Pretty in Pink Alaia Dress

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had me in awe when she showed up to Victoria Beckham’s birthday celebration in a pink gown by Alaia, breaking away from her usual figure-hugging black wardrobe selections for the red carpet.

RHW opted for a slim-fit knitted maxi dress that perfectly hugged her model figure. The Rose Quartz sleeveless dress, $2,500 at Selfridges, features a modest halter-style mock neck and a tight bodice that flares into a softly pleated maxi skirt with a sheer overlay.

Even though I’m not a huge fan of girly pink clothing, I can’t help but swoon over Rosie’s dress, which celebrates the feminine figure.

I love everything about Rosie’s look, from jewelry to footwear. She secured a pair of Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Round Ear Clips on her ears. She adorned her manicured hands with a Tiffany & Co. Tiffany Soleste Half Eternity Ring in Yellow Gold with Diamonds, a Jessica McCormack Golden Snake Ring, and a Tilted Pear Diamond Button Back Ring.

Rosie further accessorized her delicate outfit with a white Alaia “Le Teckel” purse, ensuring she had everything she needed for the occasion. I adore its minimalist and contemporary rectangular shape, which has two shoulder straps and a double zipper closure.

Not that she needed it, but Rosie enhanced her already impressive 5’9” height with the Femme “Luce Minimale” sandals. These $199 vegan leather sandals feature a 4.75-inch streamlined stiletto heel complemented by a wraparound lace-up ankle strap and a slim toe strap.
