Dakota Fanning is starting her week by making the rounds on the media circuit in elegant white spring outfits, anticipating the April 4 spring premiere of her Netflix psychological thriller series, Ripley.
With the eight-episode limited series coming to Netflix in black-and-white, I think Dakota Fanning’s all-white selections for the press tour make perfect sense.

I love the white shirt dress Fanning wore to her Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America. It’s elegant but not dull, perfectly encapsulating her signature edgy and classy style.

Dakota’s pairing her all-white ensemble with gold accessories was a smart choice. They enhanced the style and lent refinement to the dress’ relaxed silhouette.
Dakota, whose net worth is 12 million, teamed her exquisite dress with the metallic gold “Racita” slingback sandals by Manolo Blahnik. They have a strappy crossover upper, slim slingback straps, and 3-inch heels to boost her 5’4” height.

The same day, Dakota Fanning was pictured heading to Live with Kelly and Mark to discuss her new Netflix series. This time, she donned a sophisticated white dress by contemporary Australian womenswear brand Anna Quan.
The “Eleni” polyester blend midi dress retails for $670 at Revolve. It features a one-shoulder design that injects a hint of sensual flair into the elegant silhouette. The dress also has a delicate crinkle effect that gracefully drapes Fanning’s contours and a thigh-high back split for a comfy stride.

I’m glad she ditched the necklace to showcase the one-shoulder neckline. She instead added a $4,995 pair of Sydney Evan earrings in 14k yellow gold with 12mm freshwater pearl beads.

On Monday, Dakota Fanning looked red hot in her red satin slip dress as she visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
She wore a John Galliano creation from the British fashion designer’s Fall 1999 collection. I adore how the slinky frock gracefully flowed over her figure, with a plunging cowl neckline secured by velvet spaghetti straps.
Dakota paired the red dress with gold heels by Gianvito Rossi, creating a glamorous look. The “Ribbon” stiletto sandals have trendy angled square toes, buckled ankle straps with a tiny ribbon accent, and 3.5-inch heels. These are available for $895 at FWRD.

Based on Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley, the upcoming TV series Ripley takes place in 1960s New York and centers on conman Tom Ripley (Andrew Scott).
A wealthy man hires Ripley to go to Italy to find his son Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn) and convince him to return home. But as Ripley grows obsessed with Dickie and his lavish lifestyle, he comes up with a plan to pose as Dickie, resulting in “deceit, fraud, and murder.”
Dakota Fanning plays Marge Sherwood, Dickie’s love interest in the series, who is suspicious of Ripley’s real motives.
