Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are unstoppable! They’ll have an empire before we know it! The entrepreneurial couple run different businesses of their own—Chrissy has her Cravings cookware and baking mixes, while John has established his skincare line, Loved01, and wine brand, LVE. Now, the pair is expanding their wealth with the launch of their first-ever joint business venture, Kismet, a pet food and merchandise brand.

Legend and Teigen, dressed in chic ensembles, toured the media circuit on Thursday with two of their four dogs in tow to promote their new venture.

A Leggy Display in Knitted Briefs

Never one to shy away from flesh-baring outfits, Chrissy Teigen embraced underwear as an outerwear trend, parading her long model legs in brown knitted briefs and a printed silk shirt by Dries Van Noten.

I’m not confident wearing an ensemble with different textiles; I feel I’m doing it wrong. But here’s Chrissy, expertly blending knit and silk. Nobody, in my opinion, can carry off this outfit as effortlessly as her.

The Chrissy & Dave Dine Out host looked terrific in her $390 brown high-waisted ribbed knit briefs, designed with a blue-striped elasticated waistband, lending the ensemble a sporty 1960s vibe.

The daring hipster-cut briefs were offset by the modestly fashioned long-sleeved silk shirt with colorful retro geometric prints. Available for $968 at Mytheresa, the loose-fitting collared shirt was tucked into the briefs and seductively unbuttoned down to her sternum.

I love how Chrissy adorned her outfit with only a pair of statement gold earrings and a cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, leaving her neck bare.

The mom-of-four finished her stylish springtime look by donning brown mid-calf boots from Paris Texas + Nadia Lee Cohen.

Paris Texas has enjoyed a fruitful partnership with British artist Nadia Lee Cohen, who initially came on board as a photographer and filmmaker for the brand’s campaigns. The success of this work has led to an exciting new chapter in their collaboration – a capsule shoe collection designed by Cohen herself.

A more sophisticated take on cowboy boots, these soft leather boots hug the legs and come with a cowboy-style curved design, a pointed toe, and a 4-inch sturdy, conical heel. These perfect transitional boots are available for $1,295 at Net-a-Porter.

As for her glam, Chrissy wore her short brunette hair down, looking slightly teased with a deep side part to create a retro look. She then used mascara to accentuate her eyes and completed her typical bronzed appearance with neutral-colored lipstick.

Casual Sweater and Jeans Combo

On the other hand, John Legend opted for a comfy, casual ensemble, pairing a blue sweater with fitted navy blue denim jeans.

There’s nothing fancy about Legend’s ensemble, but I like how the blue hue and the dark blue palm tree prints work together to create a soothing and refreshing effect.

Carrying their French bulldog Penny, Legend completed his relaxed ‘fit with chunky white sneakers.

Classy in a Shirt and Mini Skirt Combo

The next day, Teigen and Legend visited Today to discuss their pet food business venture, Kismet.

Choosing to flaunt her legs once again, Chrissy wore a crisp white miniskirt this time. She paired it with a chic blue-and-white pinstripe shirt that featured a collar and a slightly unbuttoned front for a seductive touch.

This is a no-fail combination, in my opinion; it’s fresh, chic, and neat! I like how the shirt’s loose cut gives the traditional combo a more modern feel.

Wearing her tresses in a half-up, half-down wavy ponytail, Chrissy accessorized her outfit with oversized diamond hoop earrings and a few rings.

She further enhanced the classic pairing with lavender pumps that appear to have a see-through mesh pointed-toe vamp. They’re fastened to the ankles with a buckled ankle strap set atop a 4-inch heel.

Dapper in Monochromatic White

Legend looked a little too formal, opting for a monochromatic white look for their guest appearance on Today.

He layered a white corduroy jacket over a white shirt, which he partially unbuttoned to create a more laid-back attitude. A pair of white slim-fit corduroy trousers and textured white loafers completed his ensemble.

Kismet: A Pet Lifestyle Brand

Considering their love of dogs—they have four in the family: Petey the Poodle, Penny the French Bulldog, Pearl the Basset Hound, and tiny pup Pebbles—it makes perfect sense that the couple has developed a “high-quality food for dogs that’s as nutritious as fresh – but more convenient and accessibly priced,” as per the press release.

The brand has introduced two dry food recipes, Chicken & Barley and Salmon & Brown Rice, and two treat flavors, Slow Cooked Beef and Slow Cooked Salmon, available in sticks and squares.

The premium meal recipes come in 9- and 19-pound bags, ranging from $44.00 to $89.99. The treats, meanwhile, are priced at $17.99 for a 14-ounce bag.

In addition to dog food and treats, Kismet provides dog owners with dog-themed clothing and a vibrant bandana for their canines.

In an interview with SheKnows, Legend said they “wanted to create something you want to wear regardless of a pet food brand’s logo.”

“We didn’t want to make it too brand-heavy, you know, we don’t have a bunch of Kismet logos everywhere. We just wanted people to have merch that was really cool and that what they would actually want to wear.”
